WEEDSPORT, NY (July 20, 2026) – Another sunny Sunday afternoon greeted a solid field of competitors at Weedsport Kartway for the Summer Nationals and it was Jeremy Tuttle collecting wins nine and ten of his career at The Port, including the day’s $500 to win PRO Clone 375 finale.
Tuttle’s PRO victory was his first in several years at Weedsport, in fact the entire afternoon resembled a flashback to 2019, as longtime karting veteran John Palmieri also found his way back to victory lane behind the wheel of his No. 27J.
Tuttle and Palmieri locked down Clone Light, Heavy and PRO on sunny and slick track conditions.
A total of 11 karts took the green flag in the PRO 375 main and Tuttle would immediately take the lead as polesitter Parker Allen spun heading through the first corner. From there, Tuttle was never again challenged driving away to a 2.5-second win in the 30-lap main over Maxwell Boudreau, Palmieri, Seth Whitney and Dylan Mottoshiski.
The Heavy main event saw Tuttle click off the fastest laps of the day on his way to the win over Aidan McCollister and Whitney. McCollister made a return to Weedsport after a several year absence in the No. 69.
The Light main event saw Palmieri on top by more than 2-seconds over Wes Alfred, who earned his best career finish at Weedsport. McCollister once again finished in a podium spot to finish the top three.
As for Junior divisions, Jr. Red Clone would see a first-time winner in Bryce Bartlett. Bartlett has been knocking on the door for several races and broke through on Sunday to top Red Clone point leader, Julian Gamble. Colton Baldwin, Brantley Waldron and Austin Shutts completed the field.
Jr. Green Clone also saw a first-time winner with Michael Kapuscinski reaching victory lane. Several cautions saw Kapuscinski cycle to the lead where he was then able to fend off quick timers Owen Alger and Clark McGruder in the late stages for the win. Eli Reid and Brantley Smith would fill the top five.
A stellar field of Purple Clone racers were on hand to compete in both points and PRO main events.
The day’s points race was won by Mason Kiah edging Mason Sharts, Ricky Yelle III, Chase Faucett and Kory Froman at the finishing stripe.
The PRO finale, which paid $100 to win, was topped by Faucett who narrowly edged Sharts by only .114-seconds at the line. Froman, Kiah and Branson Havens were the top five finishers. Faucett’s victory made him the third first time winner on the afternoon.
Jr. Blue Clone was won by Laina Stewart, her second career Blue victory and fifth overall in junior action. Kaleb Kiah, Landon Levey and Dodge Smith chased Stewart across the line.
In Rookie Red it was once again Emory Kiah taking the 10-lap win over Chloe Baldwin and Grayson Neal.
Weedsport Kartway will return to action on Sunday, August 30 for the Short Port Shootout. The day’s action will see $500 to win PRO Clone 375, as well as a $100 PRO Jr. Green Clone main event. Rookie Red Clone as well as all seven points classes will also take to the track.
