WEEDSPORT, NY (July 15, 2026) – In less than a month the inaugural FX Caprara Car Companies Port City Stampede, presented by Weedsport Speedway and the All-American Rodeo Company, invades The Port on Saturday, August 1.
Listed below are answers to a series of frequently asked questions to help guide fans through their experience of the first ever rodeo to be held at Weedsport Speedway.
Date: 8/1/26
Location: Weedsport Speedway 1 Speedway Drive, Weedsport NY
Time: Gates Open at 5pm, LIVE music 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Chris Taylor and the Custom Taylor Band). Arena show set to begin at 8 p.m.
Show Duration: Approximately 2 to 2.5 hrs.
Q: Will there be a charge for Parking?
A: No, Parking is free.
Q: Will tickets be available at the gate?
A: General Admission (GA) tickets will be available at the Gate. Pit Passes will be available at the gate if not sold out before the date for the Show. Pit Passes are going fast, so expect them to sell out before the date of the show.
Q: Will there be lines to get in?
A: We encourage everyone to buy their tickets ahead of time, as pre-sale ticket holders will be directed to EXPRESS ACCESS points for both General Admission and Pit Pass entry.
Q: Can kids access the Pit Pass upgrade area with a Pit Pass?
A: YES. While there are discounts for teens and youth general admission tickets at the gate, Pit Passes are a fixed price.
Q: Is there a fee to enter the Kid Zone?
A: No, the Kids Zone activities, such as Jeff the Magic Man (6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.), playground, balloon art, bounce house, face painting, etc. are FREE to all. There will be a small fee for horse and pony rides.
Q: Are personal coolers allowed?
A: Yes, small personal soft sided 6″ x 6″ x 12″ coolers that hold no more than 6 cans are permitted. No alcohol. No glass. Must be in original, sealed containers.
Q: Is alcohol available for purchase at the event?
A: Yes.
Q: What will be available for food?
A: Weedsport Speedway is nationally recognized for its concession pavillion, offering a multitude of options including, a coffee shop, and Ice Cream Parlor.
Q: Can I bring outside food or beverage?
A: No outside food or beverage is allowed, with the exception of a small soft sided personal cooler that holds no more than 6 cans. No alcohol. No glass. Must be in original, sealed containers.
Q: Is there camping available?
A: Yes. Please visit weedsportspeedway.com and click on the Camping tab.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The Rodeo goes on rain or shine.

About Weedsport Speedway: Officially opened for the first time on July 24, 1955 – the Weedsport Speedway 3/8 mile dirt oval has produced a legendary list of drivers and champions including Will Cagle, Danny Johnson, Bob McCreadie, Alan Johnson, Jack Johnson, and Dave Lape to name a few.
