The 2026 season will come to a conclusion on Saturday, October 17 with Octoberfest at The Port. A huge day of racing will see 12 divisions in action including PRO events for Clone Heavy, Clone Super Heavy, Jr. Blue Clone, Jr. Purple Clone and Jr. Green Clone. Track titles will also be decided in all seven points divisions when all is said and done.
The 9th annual James Shutts Memorial returns to Weedsport on Sunday, September 20, featuring a $1,000 to win special for PRO Clone Super Heavy. PRO Clone Heavy will also be on the line for $500, along with PRO Jr. Blue Clone’s $100 main. Points divisions will be included on the card, making for a 10-division show in the second to last event of the season.
Weedsport Speedway’s diverse 2026 schedule will close in a big way with the Page Trucking Big Rig Nationals on Friday, September 18. For the first time in several years the big rigs will take over Weedsport, as the American Big Rig Series storms the Weedsport banks for what is sure to be an unforgettable night of racing.
Weedsport will see a tradition reborn in 2026, as the Super DIRTcar Series visits The Port on Labor Day Sunday for the Cavalcade Cup 100. While the Super DIRTcar Series will hold top billing, the DIRTcar Sportsman Series will share the stage with the annual running of the DIRTcar Sportsman Classic 75. The night’s action will be rounded out with the addition of the nimble Hoosier 600 Microsprint Tour.
The back half of Weedsport’s season will kick-off with the Short Port Shootout on Sunday, August 30. PRO Jr. Green Clone will return for another shot at $100, along with PRO Clone Heavy. Weedsport’s title chase will also continue for all points divisions.
The cars and stars of the Super DIRTcar Series make their second stop of the season at Weedsport on Sunday, August 16 for the opening round of Super DIRTcar SummerFAST. The Big Blocks will battle for 100-laps and $10,000 in the annual, Hall of Fame 100! The DIRTcar Sportsman and Mod Lites will join the card, making for a can’t miss event at the Weedsport oval.
Since 1955, Weedsport Speedway has played host to a variety of entertainment staples, but a Rodeo will be a first in 2026! On Saturday, August 1, the All-American Rodeo comes to town for the Porty City Stampede. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association will be featured throughout the day, competing in a series of roughstock and timed events.
Returning to a two-day format in 2026, the Empire State Challenge at Weedsport Speedway will once again be the only opportunity of the year for race fans to experience the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series in the state of New York. The kartway’s 2026 campaign will reach its halfway point on Sunday, July 19 with the running of the Summer Nationals. Round four of the championship for the kartway’s seven points divisions will be on the docket along with PRO Clone Heavy and a second PRO Jr. Purple Clone race of the season.
Jumpstart Summer at Weedsport with the opening round of the Empire Super Sprints CNY Speedweek on Tuesday, June 30. A special Tuesday night throwdown will feature a one-two punch of series excellence as the Empire Super Sprints will be paired with the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series. Cap the night off with a gigantic fireworks display, celebrating America’s 250th birthday!
