Weedsport Speedway officials announced on Tuesday that Spano Container will be the new title sponsor of The Port’s Sportsman Shootout Series which will open on Sunday, May 20 as a part of the Ice Breaker 50 program alongside the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds and the NY6A 600cc Micro Sprints.
Weedsport Speedway’s 2018 season officially opens for racing on Sunday, May 20 with the Ice Breaker 50 for the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, and once again 95X Syracuse Rock Alternative will be a part of the promotional effort.
Weedsport Speedway’s 2018 season gets underway over the course of the following two weekends as The Port will be a part of Finger Lakes Speed World in Auburn, NY on March 3-4 as well as the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds on March 10-11.

Weedsport Kartway officially opens on October 13 and 14 for Octoberfest, featuring more than $17,000 in posted awards across two days of racing. Saturday’s racing will feature qualifying for Sunday’s big main events, as well as the NYS Invitational for Clone Heavy drivers.
