WEEDSPORT, NY (June 9, 2026) – Anticipation and support for the inaugural FX Caprara Car Companies Port City Stampede, presented by Weedsport Speedway and the All-American Rodeo Company, continues to build as the day’s countdown to Saturday, August 1.
Since 1955, Weedsport has played host to a variety of entertainment staples, but a rodeo will be a first in 2026 as The Port brings in the best riders, ropers and racers from the northeast and beyond for this PRCA and WRPA sanctioned Pro Rodeo event.
“This event is sure to offer something for everyone as Weedsport transforms for one exceptional night,” said Weedsport Speedway General Manager, Jimmy Phelps. “The amount of people and businesses that have come together to plan and work toward making the Port City Stampede a success is amazing and we simply could not make this happen without their support.”
Joining FX Caprara Car Companies as a key partner of this inaugural event is Midway sponsor, B104.7 FM. The B104.7 Midway will feature live music from Chris Taylor and the Custom Taylor Band, beginning at 5 p.m. on August 1.
Just in time for the day’s live music, Eagle Beverage and Busch Light, the official beer of the Port City Stampede, will present Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. along the B104.7 Midway.
Families can also join in on the action as Rolling Hills Ranch presents the Kid’s Zone, which will feature pony rides, games and more fun activities for youth in attendance.
Pre-sale adult tickets are now on sale for $30 and can be purchased online through the tickets tab at www.weedsportspeedway.com.
Pre-sale adult “Pit Passes” are also available which feature exclusive access across the property, as well as upgraded infield seating to get closer to the exciting action. Only 500 adult all-access Pit Passes will be sold.

Action on August 1 will include PRO sanctioned bareback, saddleback and bull riding, as well as PRO sanctioned tiedown, team roping and steer wrestling. WPRA sanctioned barrel racing and breakaway roping will also be part of the evening.
The evening’s arena action is made possible thanks to the support of RLS Structures Inc., Mitchell’s Western Store, Pit Stop Convenience Stores, A-Verdi Storage, Pumperjack Septic, Seneca Meadows, Bootbarn, Mohawk Northeast, S+N Partners John Deere, and Christmas Tree Stables.
Those in attendance will enjoy visits from national rodeo entertainers Dave “Showtime” Meyer and Lexee Jo Barvain.
Gates will open on August 1 at 5 p.m.
