WEEDSPORT, NY (September 21, 2026) – The final event of Weedsport Speedway’s 2026 season ended in a big way with the running of the Page Trucking Big Rig Nationals on Friday evening.
To the fan’s delight, eleven American Big Rig Racing Series trucks took on the Weedsport oval for hot laps, time trials, heat and feature action with the Novice Sportsman and Hoosier 600 Sprint Tour also joining the racing card.
Hailing from Hungary, Michael Caesar was the night’s big winner in the American Big Rig Racing Series main event, as he topped Austin Hoppe for the win after starting from the sixth position. Chris Kikehan, Landon Arnold and Brant Arnold finished the top five positions in the 20-lap main.
Heat wins on the night went to Caesar and Landon Arnold with Hoppe setting the quick lap in time trials at 21.649-seconds.
The first ever Novice Sportsman event at Weedsport saw a stellar field of 25 cars and a great evening of action.
At the completion of 20-laps it was young Preston Trautschold hanging on for the win over Justin Crisafulli, Lucas Newton, Kenny Coe and Stephen Bushey. The top ten was filled by Cayden Graham, Jack Patrick, Scott Teachout, Jayden Bennett and Jay Reid.
Qualifying heat wins went to Kollin VanNorstrand, Trautschold and Crisafulli.
The Hoosier 600 Sprint Tour made their second stop of the year to Weedsport on Friday and it was Dylan Randall taking the victory. Randall cruised to just over a 1-second victory on Kyle Pierce, Zack Bobbett, Casey Williams and Tim Westlake. The back half of the top ten saw Bill Westlake, Carter Lapiers, Tucker Jones, Matt Foster and Cameron Searles.
Heat wins were collected by Ivan Forney and Randall.
The Page Trucking Big Rig Nationals concludes the 2026 season at Weedsport Speedway, while one event remains at Weedsport Kartway on Saturday, October 17.
