WEEDSPORT, NY (December 10, 2025) – The Super DIRTcar Series unveiled its 2026 schedule on December 9 with Weedsport Speedway tabbed to host three major events in the coming season.
The ‘Beasts of the Northeast’ will head to Central New York for the first time on Sunday, May 24, continuing the longstanding tradition of visiting Weedsport as part of Memorial Day Weekend. The Heroes Remembered special for the Super DIRTcar Series at Weedsport will kickstart back-to-back nights of racing, as the tour will then travel to Thunder Mountain Speedway on May 25 for The Natural 77.

Running in conjunction with the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame inductions on Thursday, August 13, the Hall of Fame 100 will be the first of four straight nights of racing for the series during the SummerFAST stretch in mid-August.
The third and final Super DIRTcar Series race at Weedsport in 2026 will take place on Sunday, September 6. The Cavalcade Cup moves from mid-September to a big Labor Day Weekend slot, which opens a lucrative fall campaign for the series as it begins to settle championship battles at the end of the season.
“The Super DIRTcar Series has been a cornerstone of our schedule for many years now,” said Weedsport Speedway promoter, Jimmy Phelps. “Being able to put on marquee events is what we do best and we feel that with the Super DIRTcar Series, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprints Cars and the American Big Rig Racing Series already announced, that we are off to a great start for 2026.”
