Hall of Fame Weekend continues this Saturday, July 28 with the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified Hall of Fame 100 as dirt racing stars Tim McCreadie and Billy Pauch Jr. join the Super DIRTcar Series cars and stars in search of $10,000.
The July 28-29 Hall of Fame Weekend at Weedsport Speedway will feature the Grand Opening of the all-new Weedsport Speedway Campground, as the cars and stars of the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series come to town.
Hall of Fame Weekend at Weedsport Speedway is just a week away featuring the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds and the Spano Container Sportsman Shootout Series with free fan pit pass upgrades available for both nights through Tuesday, July 24.
Race fans from across the region are making plans to be at Weedsport Speedway on Hall of Fame Weekend, set or July 28-29, with the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds headlining action. However, a stellar field of Spano Container Sportsman Shootout Series drivers will also join the lineup on each night, with a cool $1,000 bonus on the line for the top three drivers over two nights of action.
The all-new Hall of Fame Weekend at Weedsport Speedway on July 28-29 is quickly making headlines as the blockbuster event of the summer in Central New York motorsports circles.
Marcuccilli started the 75-lap Central Region DIRTcar Sportsman Series special from 8th position by virtue of the re-draw after winning his qualifying heat race, and stole the top spot from dominant early leader Connor Cleveland in lapped traffic on lap 66 after touching the outside wall in turn four on two separate occasions trying to find racing room.
Weedsport Speedway’s 5th annual Industrial Tire of CNY Sportsman Classic powered by Stirling Lubricants once again provided its share of fireworks on this Independence Day holiday with Dave Marcuccilli earning his second consecutive and third overall Sportsman Classic trophy.
The Independence holiday brings families and friends together in honor of our great nation and Weedsport Speedway is set to welcome race fans to its annual holiday party known as the Sportsman Classic on Tuesday, July 3.
The deal is this: Indian Motorcycle’s Jared Mees and Weedsport Speedway GM Jim Phelps are going to trade places – trade vehicles, really – for a few laps during the kickoff party, right in front of fans, fellow racers and lots of cameras.
