April 20 and 21 – Spring Meltdown Weekend (Kartway)

Weedsport Kartway kicks off its 2024 Slack Karts Super Kart Series with two days of action in April. A Saturday night special will take place on April 20, with all eight points classes in action, along with a $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 main.

May 1 – Open Practice (Kartway)

The Short Port will provide open track time for all competitors on Wednesday, May 1, as a warm-up for the upcoming Kart Cup. Beginning at 6 p.m., competitors will be grouped and sent on track for 10-lap sessions through the evening, until track time is complete.

May 5 – Kart Cup (Kartway)

The annual running of Kart Cup returns in May, but with a new twist. This year the PRO Clone 360 main event will pay a stellar $1,500 to the winner in a straight 35-lap feature.

May 26 – Heroes Remembered 100

Weedsport’s 2024 season opener will feature the annual Super DIRTcar Series Heroes Remembered 100 on Sunday, May 26. The stars of the Super DIRTcar Series will circle Weedsport for 100-laps, in search of a $7,500 pay day.

June 11 – Ferris Commercial Mowers 50

Weedsport will get ready for summer with a Tuesday night special recognizing area students. Everyone ages 18 and under will be admitted for free on Tuesday, June 11 to watch the Ferris Commercial Mowers 50 for DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds as well as the DIRTcar Sportsman.

June 13 – Open Practice (Kartway)

June 16 – Pencils Down Showdown (Kartway)

With school drawing to a close, the racing action will heat up at Weedsport Kartway. All points racing divisions will be in action once again, followed by the 30-lap Pencils Down Showdown 30 for PRO Clone 360, paying $1,000 to the winner.

July 7 – Speedweek Finale

ESS Speedweek returns to Weedsport on Sunday, July 7, with a fantastic fireworks display to end the evening. The ESS Sprint Cars will be paired with the lone stop of the season for the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series at The Port.

July 14 – Hall of Fame 100

Weedsport will once again welcome the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds on Sunday, July 14 for the $10,000 to win Hall of Fame 100. A three division card on July 14 will also see the DIRTcar Sportsman and NY6A Micro Sprints in action.

July 21 – Summer Nationals (Kartway)

The Kartway’s second half of the season will get underway in July with the running of the Summer Nationals. Another $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 main event will follow the day’s points racing feature events.

July 28 – Empire State Challenge

A hectic month of July for Weedsport ends with the highly anticipated Empire State Challenge for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series on Sunday, July 28. The series only stop in the state of New York will be paired with a 50-lap Big Block Modified special.

August 11 – Short Port Shootout (Kartway)

With the season nearing its completion, the Short Port Shootout will be a key event in the race for 2024 Weedsport Kartway track championships. The eight points racing divisions will be a highlight followed by the $1,000 to win Short Port Shootout 30 for PRO Clone 360.

September 7 and 8 – Cavalcade Cup Weekend

The weekend will kick-off on Saturday, September 7 with the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified Cavalcade 100, paying $10,000 to the winner. The night will not only prove to be lucrative for the Big Block Modifieds, but also for the DIRTcar Sportsman, as the Sportsman Classic 75 will be part of the evening along with the CRSA Sprint Cars.

September 15 – James Shutts Memorial (Kartway)

The James Shutts Memorial returns to Weedsport once again, featuring one of the largest paying PRO Clone Super Heavy payouts in the northeast. The PRO Clone Super Heavy main will again feature a full field payout, with $1,222 going to the winner in the main event, which will be run in two 22-lap segments.

October 26 – Octoberfest VI (Kartway)

The 2024 season will draw to a close with Octoberfest VI. Track champions will be crowned in all eight points racing divisions, before the largest winner’s purse in track history of $3,000 will be awarded to the night’s PRO Clone 360 50-lap winner.
